I'm new to Saabs. My 95 900 Turbo is harder to start than my father's 12-year-old Oldsmobile. I have tried a single pump on the gas pedal, no pump on the gas pedal, flooring the gas pedal, continuous pumping of the gas pedal, turning the key to ON and waiting a few seconds (as if it had a glow plug or something ;-) Nothing seems to work with any consistency. I am afraid I will burn out my starter at the rate I am going. And, it just had it's 60K service. New fuel filters, new spark plugs. But it was having this trouble before the service anyway. It must be me. Have any of you had similar problems?
