Go to ypur nearest SAAB dealer and ask them to disable it, I thik it can be done pretty easily by using the TECH2 programming tool. The manual 9-5:s that are sold in sweden does not have the switch up light, and if I remeber correctly, I have seen that option when they connected the TECH2 to my 9-5 to get rid of the annoying pling-plong sound that reminds you to wear your seatbelt (I always use the seatbelt so I didnt want thet sound every time I switched on the ignition). /Mats On 16 Oct 2001 15:04:59 GMT, nospamnopsamestein.com wrote: >How would you get to this annoying light in a 9-5? > >>You can just disconnected the bulb, I hate that idiot light too, >>access is gained to it via removal of the speaker >> >> >><jlandretti3nopsam.mdsn1.wi.home.com> wrote: >> >>>Has anyone disabled the shift light on a 1998 900 turbo s?
