TCS is indeed Traction Control System, and although posts on other boards suggest that it is unreliable, I`ve had no trouble with mine so far....If the TCS is activated, a warning lamp lights up briefly, and this is next to the "lights on" warning light in the speedo. Below 25 mph, the system uses the ABS to apply the brake to a wheel which has lost traction. If both wheels start to spin, the throttle is reduced, which is also the case above 25mph. The power output sound impressive, but frankly the timing chain components are fairly weedy when you see them off the car...Also, expect reduced life from the gearbox bearings-there`s always a trade off....
