I had the same problem with my 9000 CD -90. The problem was the gasket between the fuel pump and the tank, it was not in right place, the previous owner must have put it on wrongly. I bought a new gasket and replaced the fuel pump with the new gasket. But I did not get it on correct so the leak was still there. I bought a second gasket, drove to a guy who know how to fix Saabs. He replaced the fuel pump, with the new gasket and heaps of glue. And thereafter no more leaks. /Jonas -- /// Address: RÂbygatan 11B, 223 61 Lund, Sweden /// Phone: +46-(0)46-37 07 72, Mobile: +46-(0)70-37 06 466, Fax: +46-(0)46-280 14 81 "Aron" <aronnopsamycafe.com> wrote in message news:O34x7.192301$w7.31124359nopsam02.optonline.net... > or, a leak around the gas cap. > > "Stphnmccrckn" <stphnmccrcknnopsamom> wrote in message > news:20011009224649.24730.00001008nopsamt.news.cs.com... > > Sounds like a leak around the fuel pump . > > Stephen McCracken >
