Subject: SAAB 900 classic vs 900 GM

I am planning to buy another SAAB 900. I now drive a classic 900 which as run 270,000 km (approx. 150 kMi). I am still in doubt if a should buy another classic 900 with low kilometers (milage) or a new type 900. I was planning to drive the car for ten years or so. My heart is telling me to buy a clissic 900 but my head tells my to buy a new type 900, because of the accessories installed in the new ones like cruise control, SRS, electric windows and climate control (most of these accessories are not standard installed in both classic and new 900 in the Netherlands). So in the end I think it will be a new tye 900. What are the "weak" points of the new 900 to be aware off (all types: the 2.0, 2.3 and 2.5V6) manual, automatic or sentronic gearboxes. And what about maintenance intervals and costs. Is it possible to maintain the car yourself or do you have to be a diy mechanic. Anybody how has any experience on both types of SAAB 900?
