Hi Frank, The reason that this happens is a fault in the SID (Saab Information Display), it has to be replaced, this will happend more. , ... but it`s not a big deal, do you have the original radio? If so make shure the RDS in on an the tuner is on. Then press those two little buttons at the left of the SID for a few secconds, then SID should display: "waiting for RDS time" (or something like that).
