I have Saab 900I -92. First my problem was same kind. Later ABS light up always. I took my car to Saab Service and they shoot the problem is faulty ECU unit. I thought I don't loose anything if I open the case of ECU unit. I found some corroded screws and some other hints that case was not properly sealed. Moisture had got inside the case. I dryed the ECU and flushed it using CRC-solvent. I closed the case and sealed it again using silicone. Now the ECU unit has been working several veeks but who knows how long.
