I'm thinking of getting a 93 9000 CSE with 105k miles but with all the horror stories I'm reading I'm having second thoughts. I had a 88 9000S that stranded me with a dead clutch (master cylinder), bad electronics and other treats. Now I'm reading about exploding crankshafts, deteriorating engine mounts, mysterious problems. It appears Saab hasn't cleaned up it's act. But that turbo, moon roof, traction control, power everything sure is tempting and it looks so delicious in red. Ah, the eternal quandry: substance or appearance.
