Subject: Re: difference between late 99s and early 900s ?

Well late 99's got most of the 900 improvements as they were introduced. So an early 79-80 900 will still have old B-series engine, old style hubs, 'tombstone' seats, old style door mirrors etc. A late '82-84 99 will have H series engine, new hubs, seats, integrated door mirrors etc. Of course 99 models were quite reduced by this time, so all you could get was a single carb 100hp 2 or 4 door sedan.
