Hey, this is not an US exclusive news group! I know that the internet started years ago in the US, but the www was invented by T. Berners-Lee in CERN Switzerland. Saab cars are enjoyed by many people outside the US. The lifetime of air bags is of interest to many, to UK drivers in particular since cars more that three years old must go to a mandatory annual MOT check. Some cars can have up to 8 airbags fitted. What will happen after the time when the manufacturers assurance runs out? Can they be switched off or must they be replaced at huge cost? Johannes
