Subject: Saab 9K Vibration

Hey I wonder of you guys (& girls) can help me. I have a '94 Saab 9000 2.3T CSE (150K miles) which I have owned for 3months (What a cracking car!). Just recently the front right wheel has been producing a vibration at speed (in excess of 120mph). My previous Saabs have never done this, in fact they've been as smooth as you like at this speed. I've had the wheel balancing checked and the alignment is spot on. My Haynes manual says it could possibly be either the inner or outer CV joints, probably the inner. Are these an absolute nightmare to change as the manual is saying I have to lift up the engine. Any advice? If I leave it will just get worse and damage the gearbox etc? Many thanks Fraser
