It depends on the speed. Below 25 mph, the system attempts best acceleration, firstly by braking a spinning wheel, then reducing the throttle if both wheels spin. Above 25 mph, the system goes for stability, simply by reducing the throttle if either of the driving wheels starts to spin. Its linked to the ABS system.
