The symptom You = descripe is how the manual descripes when the starter motor is defect. If It does'nt start at all, try to take an extension of some kind and = put against the starter motor, and then take a hammer and carefully = knock a couple of time on the starter motor. I have just now the same problem with mine, and it helps. Reg. Frank "Derek Harkema" <harkemanopsamet.com> skrev i meddelandet = news:tvbaj5r1sih78nopsam.supernews.com... Cannot start car. Turn on key and it acts like it is not getting = power. The lights come on dim and when you turn on the ignition it seems = to stop the power all together. Did it several times last week and I = tried several times with the key as well as moving auto transmission = lever. Car started. Now you turn on the key and no lights bell etc come = on. Cannot lock the car with remote.Need to do it manually. Battery and = connections seem to be ok. Any idea what is causing this? Is it related to the ABS light being on and the dealer changing the = ignition switch as the feedback caused the ABS light to be on?
