My suggestion would be to look at a little older cars.The 900 and the 9-3 doesn't differ that much. So, if you buy the absolute cheapest 9-3 you get, you will probably get the one with the most problems and the highest milage. Go for a little older car that have lost some value because of age instead of problems. The warranty will still cover a 99 9-3. Even the 98's. So everything will be fixed by Saab unless it is wear and tear.
