Use lock de-icer for that. I use a brand called Qualco. My ignition seized up again today, probably sand and water that got in there due to my location/recreational pursuits. I had a locksmith come by (triple A plus pays up to $100), and he fixed it in 5 minutes. Graphite didn't work this time. Watch that darned ignition when you've got sand stuck to you getting into the car and/or drinking beverages! Yes, I live in/near/on the ocean...;) -jw
