Has anyone had an electrical problem like this on a 9000 2.3? Turn key and engine turns but wont start - look at dashboard display and the fuel gauge is reading empty and low fuel light is on but the tank is nearly full. The temperature gauge is working but the computer display is blank. I left the ignition switched on and after about 20 seconds the computer display slowly got brighter to its normal level and the car started fine. Drove car around the block and switched off turned key again and had the same problem but this time the display suddenly came up after about a minute. Fuses are ok - could it be a relay problem or a bad earth connection? Any ideas that might point me in the right direction would be a great help. Thanks -- Steve Hagerty
