No. The CD Changer does not use any of the ordinary control cables to connect it to the head unit. Instead it attaches to a LAN [1] and communicates with the head unit and the security computer over the LAN. The CD Changer will not work unless the Tech-II test tool has been used to "marry" it to the vehicle. If the CD Changer should be removed it has to be "divorced" from the vehicle. A CD Changer can not be "married" to a vehicle unless it has been "divorced" from the previous vehicle. The reason for all this is that some people have problems differentiating "mine" and "yours".
