According to information from this web page http://media.gm.com/division/canada/english/products/saab/archiv es/1999_Saab_9-5.html under the section MECHANICAL (at the end of page 6, if you print it out) The item Engine block heater is listed as standard euipment. Thing is I can't find reference to it in the owners manual. This could be because 1. I have a 2000 not a 1999 owners manual, 2. this page is from gm canada and the us model is different or 3. the block heater isn't what I think it is. I am hoping its a cold weather heater that I can plug in to keep the the radiator coolant warm. If you know what it is and or how it works please let me know. Thanks.
