Other than the standard precaution of having the car checked out by a mechanic that you know and trust? No. I can tell you that I just picked up a "97 CSE and we are totally happy with it. Turbo solenoid was faulty and needed to be replaced (only 50% boost) and we had the tranny power-flushed because the prior owner drove like a LOL. Awesome car. Good luck!
