I had similar problems in my (much older) 900 Turbo. Actually I made these problems my self by adjusting the turbo's vaste/overflow valve. I'm not sure if your car has the same system anymore. It was a simple bolt connected between turbo and this overflow valve. Shortening it increased the pressure and opposite. It's sealed if anyone hasn't touched it. It was a very easy way to get quite a bit more power but little dangerous...
