I ran Pirelli P600s on a Saab before and they were on the performance side.  I have
Dunlop SP4000, which are supposed to be a 'sport' tire, but I find them to very
quiet, but lacking in traction when compared to the Pirellis.  They maybe just what
you are looking for, if you want quiet and comfort.
