My bad.... the few I have worked on the brakes have all been pre-'88 I guess. :) As a sad story kinda related..... I had one state inspection station completely RUIN a set of pads and rotors when they put the car on the dyno and set the parking/emergency brake. I could SMELL the brakes and KNEW what they had done. It took them twenty extra minutes just to face me. Maybe they thought I'd not notice the smell after the twenty minutes or something...... anyway... made them note the mistake and got them to later pay for new brakes.....
