The Pinto has actually quite a following, although the first ones were marred by the infamous petrol pipe design flaw. The picture in my mind was of another small, but rather squat US car from around that time. It looked like an overblown supermini attempt that could only have made in the US. The car looked like it somehow felt sorry for itself. What was it?
