Subject: Re: Access to 900 heater hose?

Thanks. I am planning to replace both heater hoses, although they were replaced about a year ago when the water pump went. I'm almost certain that the leak was caused by the hose occasionally touching the rotating A/C pulley. It doesn't touch when the engine is off or idling, but it's very close, so I think it touches when the engine shifts around under load. The problem in getting the hose off is that the clamp was put on while tha A/C compressor was out of the way, and the screw is pointed in a direction that makes it just about impossible to reach straight on. Maybe I'll have to dig the hose out from under the clamp! -Fred Brosi "JMEL5" <jmel5nopsamcomnospam> wrote in message news:20020108225412.28483.00000404nopsamp.aol.com... > >I'm sure!
