Subject: Re: Value of a broadsided Saab 9-3?

Hi, sad story , but well that things happen a wrecked car , no matter if repaired or not is almost always worth LESS it might not affect the value if a viggen has a little scratch on the grille but well if you have such a big accident with bent struts n things then for sure you are going to lose alot of the worth... no matter how much money you put in a car, you probably wont be able to get it back i.e.you have a 87 900 with 2000$ worth of tranny, clutch and head gasket work and you still will only be able to sell the car for 3500$ or something... the dealer is most likely to have a problem with laws if he sells the car without telling the buyer it was in an accident such things should not happen, everything has to be fixed properly... you can of course put the car to another saab dealer and let them have a look at it bye simon putz
