Subject: Re: Oil system prime? Help!

True, but anyone who wants to limit wear on a newly rebuilt (or reassembled) engine will prime the oilsystem first. I know that if a brand new 350 chev smallblock is started without first priming the pump thru the distributor shaft, the engine life will be affected. Supposedly. Anyhow, no harm in doing it, possible harm not doing it. Why take chances? Phil Brown wrote: > << This worked excellently, thanks!
