I've never found much or any improvement trying different tyres, so now I just
buy on price. I'm aware of the differences tyres can make, as I also ride a
Honda 1100, but on the Saab (91 9000 2.3 non turbo) the
cornering/roadholding/wet weather performance seems to be roughly the same with
all the tyres in the £50- £70 range I've tried. I imagine a greater different
would be noticed on turbo models.
