I have a 1996 Saab 900 (2.3l). When the lock switch is on, it needs to be switched off before it will let you open the doors from the inside of the car. Is this normal? It seems dangerous to me. If you try to get out in a hurry, you have to fumble for the lock switch before the car will let you out. Is this a standard feature of this model?
