Thanks for the feedback.  I was gonna run synthetic lube like Amsoil Race
2000 but got scared off by the problem reports that I read here.  Someone
else said that they were using a synthetic 10W30 with good success.

Does anyone know if there is a big difference in the additive package
between gear-lubes and engine oils?
