Both are fossil fuel burners, diesels may be slightly more CO2 efficient, but produces particulates that sticks to everything. In can show you diesel when I wash the walls in my lounge. Hence in the UK, diesel carry no environmental tax advantage or incentive. I suppose you would include: top posting vs. bottom posting! Johannes
