I take it that you really didn't have a nice experience with your last Bimmer Not at all, it was probably the most unreliable car I've ever had. It wasn't particularly old, didn't have many miles on it, but in my humble opinion, did not live up to the reputation it had. After getting ripped off for a service at a main agent/dealer to the tune of £500, about two weeks later after turning a corner from a standing start (so approx 5-10 mph) the front left tyre suddenly went flat without being punctured!!!!! So imagine having to change the wheel with the piss poor jack handle BMW provide on a busy road in a city centre with your arse hanging out in the traffic & trying desperately not to get myself killed. Not only that, the bastard jack collapsed after I got the wheel off. That is the God's honest truth. Oh.... & I also broke some toes kicking it in frustration. Built from beans tins. Expensive bean tins. The worst thing I ever had happen to me in my old 900....well the wipers squeaking, on a car that had 170,000 miles on it. Built like a tank & built to last! us :-)
