We've gone over the key thing for you at least twice, and just because you don't *agree* with the safety and ergonomic reasons, Ken, doesn't mean that they're not explained. Likewise, the tilt wheel thing was, at the time and perhaps still, a safety concern, something about the telescoping column geometry getting screwed up if the wheel isn't perpendicular to it.
