Thanks to everyones input on this one - finally got it resolved - SAAB UK agreed to pay 75% of the part cost and the Dealer 'Lincoln SAAB' agreed to fit it for free. Just shows you what a phone call can do - it saved me £120! Thanks to everyone for the input - thread now closed.
