Subject: 1996 9000CSE 2.3 lpt - missing under gentle acceleration



My '96 9k CSE 2.3 lpt (60k miles) "misses" under gentle acceleration,
however if pushed hard it flies no problem (a slight miss at low revs but as
the revs climb it smooths out). It has full Saab service history (next
service due in March) and this has been happening since about a month after
I bought it (July 2001 with 53k miles on the clock). I had it at my friendly
dealer (a 14 hour overnight ferry journey for Shetland to Aberdeen) and he
did not cure the problem (although they said the wastegate was sticky but
they had freed it up - I noticed no difference - a bit disappointing at £52
per hour).

Any suggestions gratefully received.
