Subject: Re: Can you move the seat!!!

Thank you H for your very interesting explanation. The problem with the 9-3 is the foot well on both sides of the car is very narrow. It was suggested by my dealer that 'the right hand drive dose not convert very well' his words not mine. My knees are up in the air around the steering wheel and not under it. If you sit in a 9-5 you will see the car is wider in the foot well so more leg room. Even if you look in the brochure the 9-5 only has 3mm more leg room then the 9-3. But its not leg room its width in the pedal area that is missing. If the wheel could be moved up and down instead of just front to back then the problem would not be as bad. Head room in the 9-3 is more than adequate. I was very happy with the car, my wife has a Saab 9-3 Convertible LPT but I don't drive it every day. I drive 90 miles a day about 3 hours in the car (good old M1) so enough leg room is a must. My cousin is 6 foot 7 with size 13 feet so no hope for him. Many thanks.
