Subject: Re: UK MOT TESTING STATION - WARNING

Wow! What a thread - captivating stuff. Would appear that Andy has caused quite a stir and quite right too! Believe your comments are justified on the NG. I thought that the purpose of the NG was allow subscribers to exchange information, experiences and, as in your case, warn off. Thought some of the comments from some of the more regular subscribers were a tad harsh. I am curious however whether you contacted your local Trading Standards Office and made them aware of what was going on ? (didn't see any references in the NG threads). If the guys that are carrying out your MOT are genuinley extracting the urine and wearing six guns and stetsons then it wouldn't do any harm to make the authorities aware of your complaint. You never know, others may have complained to the TSO about them and yours might be the final 'lets go pay them a visit'. Cheers, Mick p.s. was your car a SAAB?
