Subject: '98 9-5 Vibration

Hi, I hate to ask a question that's already been asked reasonably recently, but I wasn't paying attention. I'm driving a '98 Saab 9-5. Recently I've been getting vibration when driving at speeds of about 60-65 mph (I guess about 95-105km/h). I'd describe the vibration as coming up through my seat, and is very noticeable on the gear stick. Spoke to my dealer and they said it was most likely the wheel balancing (which I tended to agree with). I have had that done, and it things did improve (though not completely) for a few days, but now a week later things are much as they were before. I'm also getting some wheel-spin when moving off from a stop and turning right on gravel and wet roads (pretty common here in Ireland), and the car tends to drift left on flat road when the steering wheel is held loosely. I seem to recall some discussion on possible causes of this here a few months back - and I always like to be forearmed before talking to my dealer. Any ideas on possible causes in addition to the balancing would be much appreciated. Thanks, John
