Hi Dont have an answer to your question but do have similar problem. Front brake pads just been replaced - I get the squeaks after cars been sitting idle for some time too - after a couple of turns it goes away. Strange eh? Mine is a 1989, 900i. cheers ordinary bloke Marty from Florida > wrote in message <71jc8.113847$TI5.5559473nopsam0-atl2.usenetserver.com>... >I just replaced my rear brake pads with new ones, and they sqeak loudly >after sitting for an hour.
