I still don't understand why you'd buy a car if you thought the performance was "mediocre for its class". But, since you own it, why don't you consider modifying whatever it is that you feel is substandard. If you think it bounces too much, buy some Koni shocks/dampers ($550). If you think it leans too much in the corners, consider a stiffer anti-sway bar ($100). If you want all around stiffness in the suspension, replace the springs ($300). If you want more HP, add a manual boost controller ($35( or an ECU upgrade ($500 to $1000). Try abbottracing.com or Trent Saab in the UK for starters, there are others out there that will help you tune. Bob want an all around
