I bought the Gislaveds in a package from my dealer. $820 mounted on Saab 16" alloy wheels. One caution on the Bridgestones, the outer tread compound is very soft to enhance ice traction so they won't last as long as more conventional snows. I may try the Michelin Artic Alpin's next. They are the same price as the Blizaks at Tire Rack, and are also available at Costco here in Colorado for a reasonable price. The NRW's are also very well regarded in the Saab/Volvo communities. Like the Gislaved's, they can be difficult to find. BTW, you will find a lot more information about this stuff on The Saab Network site and its forums than you will in this newsgroup. Not to slight this group, there is a lot of good information here, Saabnet.com just seems to have more. Visit www.saabnet.com and search the various bulletin boards for snow tire.
