Although it may be different for converts or for cars sold in the UK, but with my American sold 9000 I bought used last year, it took a while, but I finally found the cable DEEP down in the wheel well area. > My problem is :- how do i remove the radio in order to plug the cable in? > There are 4 holes which i have pushed some skewers from my BBQ but the radio > still wont budge (i don't want to bust it). There is a special tool, but I have managed to do it with just some nails showed in the holes. Put in the nails, then stick your fingers in the cassette slot and give it a good tug. It is a little stiffer than you might think. Next thing to check is to see if the cable is already there. On my 9000, it wasn't plugged into the back of the unit, but instead tie-wrapped (one of those plastic zip ties) to the antenna cable. So even if the cable IS in your car, you probably need to pull the radio to plug it in anyway. But now you can verify if it is really there or not. If it is, plug it in and now you are going to have to search again for the other end of the cable. Patrick
