Subject: Re: dimming headlights on 2001 9-5

This is a common report among 2001 9-5 owners however, no one has come up with the answer. My dealer has not been able to find anything either. Some people have reported that they hear a clicking sound in the lower left side of the dash when it does this. I have never heard that sound. I only see it about 5-10 minutes into my morning drive to work. <milanihnopsamrs.com> wrote in message news:F41j8.107139$aFN.66806nopsam1.bloor.is... > Doesit start ok then dims"? if so then perhaps there is a short " I could > be wrong " but on mine it happens only at time hat I pull up the window > control switch ( when the windows is completely rolled up, and engage the > switch upward) this causes the light (specially the headlights dims. or > pressing the door lock switch . and it is normal. because what you doing you > forcing a motor to turn where there is no room to turn hence current goes up > then lights dim . so ask them to check to see if all switches operating as > they should.
