Would the sound be likely to travel all the way up the car like that? When either of us are sitting in the passenger seat, it sounds as though it's right *there* in the door pillar, though a cursory look has revelaed nothing obvious. Selkie9 .. The problem with explosives is that if you screw up, you're not just history, but biology, geography and modern art as well.
