It's approaching the end of my current contract hire on a 9-5 estate (2.0 lpt SE). Prices in the UK have dropped a bit in the three years and I discovered that I can now get an Aero Estate for practically the same money. So this morning I had my first test drive of an aero. I turned up and within a couple of minutes was leaving the dealership with the only proviso that the car had to be back in an hour for the next test drive. After a couple of minutes to get used to an auto, last one I drove was six years ago, a wide grin had appeared on my face. Then I discovered Sport mode.... WOW it was like someone had lit an afterburner at the back of the car. From that moment on I was sold, my next car had to be an aero. Who needs salesmen when all the need do is give you the keys for an hour! All I have to do now is decide what colour... Iain poop poop (With apologies to Toad from Wind in the Willows)
