Can someone tell me why the doors to cars in general dont automatically lock anymore? Almost every car I've had in the past has had door locks that engage either when the vehicle begins to move or when it is shifted into drive. Was there a reason this was discontinued or is it just the vehicles I've seen that do not have it anymore? Its strange as I had always considered it a good safety feature. Thanks, Frank
