The 2.3 LIGHT-pressure turbo is 185bhp, the 3.0V6lpt is 200bhp, but the 2.3 Hight-output turbo, featured in the 9-5 Aero is 250bhp, substantially more than the V6. Pre-2002 models had 230bhp, still way in excess of the V6, and both 4-cylinder engines have far better fuel economy - automatic or manual - than the V6. Hope that helps, H.
