It should be behind the left liner, tied down somewhere near the wheel. Some cars did not have the cable tied down correctly so the cable fell down to the floor. There was a service bulletin on this issue, and the cable should have been checked when the car was in for service. AFAIK there are two versions of the cable, one version is long enough to reach the changer, one is too short and the connector is close to the wheel. The short cable version requires an adapter.
