It removes the need to wire a microphone, and removes the need to wire a speaker. However, the integration into the ASx audio system is what makes it so good. Nokia btw, haven't had a decent car kit for a lot of their models for a long time - I wouldn't hold your breath. My choice of Nokia phone has been driven by which model they make that will fit a CARK91 :-) Simon
