It wasn't a Griffin, it was a 900 T16 S, but the principle still applied. It's difficult to bargain with a salesman when you've got a big grin on your face. Still, I think I did okay. 1988 T16 S, red, bodywork in okay nick, engine in excellent nick, full history, 2500 quid. It even had the full toolkit and the original manual...
