Subject: Re: Electric Window Problems on a 9000 CSE

The usual problem with electric windows is the spring which compresses on the way down, but is then reluctant to uncoil, due to corrosion. Either the wobbles, or loud cracking sounds result. The solution is to remove the regulator to the bench to clean and lubricate. Its incredible just how much rust can be washed out by WD 40! Also a common problem on 900s Chris "Toby Field" <tobynopsamd-1.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message news:a7g2ki$7ha$1nopsam8.svr.pol.co.uk... > I have a 1993 9000 CSE that has faulty electric windows and was wondering if > there's a cheap solution. > > The drivers side window works fine on the way down but has problems going > up.
